A public preview of UK energy projects and the live Great Britain grid — built from official and open datasets, with the source on every figure.
GridRecord helps you see what energy projects are near a place, what stage they have reached, and (in Great Britain) what is powering the grid right now — including open power-cut feeds we archive for history.
It is independent: not affiliated with NESO, National Grid, DESNZ, or any DNO. It is not complete — we only show what published sources contain — and not an emergency service. For life-threatening situations or live power cuts, use 105 / 999 and your network operator’s official map.
Live carbon intensity and fuel mix are Great Britain only. The project map can include Northern Ireland rows from REPD where present; NI live outages are not connected yet.
